Both the temporary residence permit (USD 150,000) and the investment residence permit (USD 300,000) can be maintained without any minimum number of days spent physically in Georgia — investors are not required to rearrange their daily life or relocate to keep the permit valid. The requirement to maintain ownership of the qualifying property for the duration of the residence permit is an asset-holding condition, not a requirement to personally occupy or spend time at the property. Simply holding a residence permit, even while spending time in Georgia, does not automatically make an individual a Georgian tax resident.
